Premium vs. standard models
Premium models — the frontier flagships — draw on your monthly allowance and, in addition, on a weekly fair-use allowance: 12% of the monthly allowance per week on Code Starter, 15% on Code Pro and 18% on Code Max. The window is a rolling 7 days that opens with your first premium request.
Standard models have no weekly cap — use them as far as your monthly allowance goes.
Priority variants. Every model also exists as a Priority variant (-max suffix) with priority routing, at a smaller discount. They are available on the API with the same key; see the full models page for context windows, capabilities and prices.
